Support

How can you support the shed?

There are several ways in which you may be able to help the shed to support people in our community.

Refer a Shedder

Do you know someone who would benefit from becoming a Shedder?

Shedders benefit from socialising, learning different things, and passing valuable skills to others. Shedding keeps people active and gets them involved. If you know anyone who you think may benefit from becoming a Shed Member please encourage them to get in touch with us using our contact form and we will make sure we have someone available to meet and greet them.

Sell our products?

We are a not for profit group and raise funds by making a range of items by re-cycling wood. We use oak fence posts and rails to make, clocks, lamps, T lights, coat racks, picture and mirror frames.  Other items include bath caddies, garden trugs and door stops.

Donate tools or equipment?

We are indebted to the many people who have donated tools to the Shed - we refurbish and use what we can.  We occasionally sell or swap donated tools to Shedders and others, where we have duplicated or unwanted items.  Tools that we cannot refurbish go to a specialist charity Tools for Africa who have the resources to make them useful again.

Supply raw materials (wood)?

We always need wood and appreciate donations of materials particularly hardwoods that we can use at the shed.

Buy our items

Come along to one of our craft fair appearances and see if any of our goods take your fancy.

Attend a workshop

Bring a child along to one of our making workshops where they can experience the joy of making for a small donation to the shed.

Money Donations

We very much appreciate monetary donations from individuals or organisations that wish to support the work we do. We can accept donations in cash or via bank transfer. If you wish to make a donation please contact us using our contact form.
