Do you provide training for new members?

No, we are not a training provider but we can support new members through mentoring by other experienced members.

Do I need to have done woodworking before to join the shed?

No, you do not need woodworking skills. It may easier for you if you have done practical activities in the past but it is not a necessity.

What kind of projects can I get involved with?

It's really up to you. You could participate in one of our big build community projects, you could create craft items for fairs or you could work on your own project.

What Equipment do you have?

We have a good range of equipment which includes some large machines as well as powered hand tools. We can handle most projects.

I have disabilities can I still become a member?

Yes, we welcome members of all abilities. Please see our health page for more information.

I don't drink tea or eat biscuits, can I still become a member?

We can't understand it, but yes, you can still become a member.
