Shedders
About The Shedders
Our members come from all walks of life, we have former drivers, doctors, scientists, factory workers and watch makers. Some people come with woodworking experience, others have little or none. It really doesn't matter, we can help you learn. What matters is that you willing to be part of the shedding community. A community that comes together to carry out meaningful activity, share with others, learn from others and enjoy friendship and camaraderie.
Reasons for Joining the Shed
People come to the shed for many reasons these include:
- For companionship after bereavement
- To carry out meaningful activity after retirement
- Just to get out of the house
- To learn new skills
- To support their local community
Whatever your reason for joining, we aim to make sure that you benefit for carrying out meaningful activities in a safe, supportive and friendly environment.
