I lost my wife in June 2022, my daughter was a bit worried about me and was looking for something for me to get involved with. She spoke to the local council who suggested we contact the Men's Shed. We took their advice and I have never looked back.

I really enjoy my time at the shed, I have made projects for my family which they have been very happy with, its a lovely feeling to gift something you have made yourself. I also work on community projects at the shed It feels good to work with friends on joint projects.

Woodworking is easier when you have good quality tools and equipment that we have at the shed. We have everything you need for most woodworking projects and there is always someone on hand to provide support with equipment if it is ever needed. I would definitely recommend the shed to anyone that is thinking of joining up.
